Who are we?
Great question and I'm glad you're here. I founded The Consulting CMO to help organizations of all sizes (from startup to large enterprises) modernize their marketing, find their competitive niche, and tap into new revenue streams. I'm an award-winning Fractional CMO and three-time Chief Marketing Officer and Brand Executive who has held leadership roles at Time Warner, Thompson-Reuters, IBM, Virtusa, IQVIA Technologies, and other industry and up and coming segment leaders. I'm known for revitalizing underperforming brands with bold marketing strategies and building savvy marketing teams that keep performance high.
What's unique about that?
My experience as both a Brand Strategist and Full Stack Marketer is actually unique. (Trust me, I've tried to hire people like me). I've transformed five, billion-dollar technology brands from underperformers to industry front-runners as the brand owner "client-side." Not as an agency Brand Strategist. Client Side. An agency focuses on brand development but isn't responsible for integrating and operationalizing the brand into the business long-term. It's an important distinction and can radically impact your Marketing and Sales performance. It's like architecting the tip of an iceberg versus the entire glacier. It affects how you develop your brand from the beginning.
Is that a big deal?
My clients think so. When you own the brand and are responsible for marketing, it's your revenue and market share on the line. You are responsible for the ongoing performance and every nuance that touches the brand experience. Can your sellers articulate the brand? Can you feel it in marketing campaigns, employee and recruitment communications? Your work isn't done at the end of an engagement. When the new brand launches, you're just beginning. Making the brand you developed perform well over the long haul is a big deal. And not many have done it five times.

Advertising won't provide the enduring impact you need. I know how each marketing function impacts the other and can strategize and integrate horizonal capabilities to drive more impact; from brand and product marketing to content and demand generation, with no seller or business partner left behind. That saves you money, time, and resources. It drives consistency, preserves your brand, and streamlines operations.
Is your marketing prepared for growth?
It's key to have insight into your marketing capabilities and know what type of organization and infrastructure you need to grow. I help organizations build marketing strategies, budgets and investment cases. Businesses often add tactics and marketers organically to serve current business needs. I help organizations identify skill and role gaps, inefficient marketing processes and obstacles within the construct of their marketing organization that will prevent growth.
